Ask Lawmakers To #SaveOurSchoolsRI And Pass Unifying Legislation

General Assembly leaders can become heroes by putting a stop to the divisiveness that is brewing in our communities!

Regardless of how anyone feels about Critical Race Theory (CRT), its tenets are explosively divisive and are tearing our communities apart. We are calling on our state lawmakers to reconsider a version of House Bill 6070 which was heard in committee in March, but then tabled. In passing legislation that would effectively prohibit the teaching of divisive race- or gender-based guilt concepts at the state and local level , our elected officials would spare us from countless hours of public acrimony at future school committee meetings in town after town across Rhode Island

Our kids are watching us. Parents, teachers, and school board members fighting about what is being taught to our kids … and the disgraceful labeling and threats in public forums … must be stopped. Now is the time for concerned citizens to stand-up and ask our political leaders to take pre-emptive action.

Now is the time to save our schools!

Across America, parents are fighting for their rights… and winning! It is not appropriate that any concept that promotes any racial stereotype be taught to our children.

By signing this petition, I call on the Rhode Island General Assembly to pass a version of H6070 in the special fall session. State lawmakers have the chance to save our schools by closing the door they unintentionally opened in 2019 when they gave far too much power to the statewide RI Department of Education (RIDE) to curriculum; a power they are now exploiting to indoctrinate children against their parents wishes.

When I submit this petition I also authorize that an email will be sent to multiple legislative leaders, stating my support for lawmakers to save our schools by passing unifying legislation .

Our kids are watching us! You can help end the disgraceful public fights among parents, teachers, and school board members.

As a General Assembly leader, you are hereby petitioned to become a hero by helping to put a stop to these local fights over the indoctrination of our students with anti-American and race-based theories.

I am calling on you pass version of House Bill H6070 during the upcoming special fall session. The legislation, which was heard and tabled in March, seeks to prohibit the teaching of divisive concepts by requiring all contracts at the state and local level to effectively prohibit the teaching of race- or gender-based guilt.

Our students should be taught the historical truth about America’s heritage and how our nation overcame prejudices and immoral institutions to become the world’s greatest defender of freedom and individual rights … and do so, without denigrating or stereotyping any racial group.

You can – with one fell swoop – help end these battles, and return education to its basics, including an objective, inclusive, and truthful teaching of our proud American history. Thank you.
